Of all those lost, unborn and unmade - Whose heads got filled with neon lava

Good morning, blogscape -

Little to report these days as the job had me in my hometown all week, things with the theater project have settled slightly for a few days and my Twitter has been the buffer between my blog and all the random thoughts that I feel the need to broadcast online and writing an actual entry, follow me, won't you??

It's been a nice quiet week except when I suddenly get the urge to blast the new Metallica around the house, which has been the case this weekend. I don't know how Metallica makes albums that are so initially "meh..." and then suddenly one day it's all I want to listen to. Metallica and Tool. Wow, this is more insight on my brain than I need this early in the morning. Moving on.

I've been performing a lot more these days and if you haven't noticed there's a handy list of where and when in the sidebar over there --->

the new improvagogo.com is also handy, trying to get used to having a central place for people to find out who's up at the IAGG is weird.

And I'm prepping a class, which is super exciting for me. I love teaching, absolutely love it. I get to do it way less than I would like and coming back under the banner of "Master Class" can be intimidating but if there's one thing my brain can geek out on until it sizzles - it's "stucture vs freeform" stuff. this is going to be great.

The big thing right now is, of course, the kids' PB&J challenge.
Voting is still open, you can still vote several times a day and it looks like we stand a decent chance of making it into the finals round (as long as people keep up the pace) where the silly get-everyone-you-know-to-vote-100-times-an-hour ends and the video entries are actually judged by judges. Once we make it there I give us decent odds.

So, once again. Please go vote a few times.
It would mean a lot to my kids if we win this thing.
Seriously, they barely know who Spongebob Squarepants is but they know Bobby Flay and Mario Batali. This win would go a long way toward making up for the beatings they are sure to be on the receiving end of in public school for being weird little fuckers.

The instructions once again:
GO HERE and you should see "Battle PB&J"
Click on the "rate this" link at the bottom right of the video
Give it 5 Jelly Jars
Close browser window, re-open, repeat
Leaving positive comments is appreciated as well but you can't do that repeatedly.

Thanks everyone.
