Father's Day was a great day.
We ate good food, hung out around the house and did nothing for awhile, I finished hauling dirt into the garden, the boys played in the sprinkler, more nothing, bike riding at the park, quick dinner and off to the show with the twins.
The twins had a fantastic time at the IAGG last night and were little angels, they were so excited to get onstage I thought they were going to explode and when they got done they were so proud of themselves it was silly. They were asleep in the van in minutes. Aidan woke up babbling to mom about 'doing plugs' while being tucked into bed before fading away again.
Ah, show business.
I love bringing the kids to the shows but it's also super exhausting (and I imagine some others at the show as well, the twins can be a handful for an entire crowd of people if they're properly riled up) and tense - combining two things I really really love doing and trying to make sure I have enough focus and attention for both is tough and there are a lot of moving parts to both.
I was asleep not long after the boys.
Sunrise and I'm off for day 1 of the meeting of people that are planning the future but can't plan their own meeting and I'm up a bit too early even for my taste today. that is all. Coffee is calling me.
Butch in suit plus tie he got for father's day.
I vote for Mike.
