we made the team without puttin' on a uniform

road blog - Philly day 3?

today is our last day of show and it feels like we've been here forever.
I think it's just a by-product of the way we usually do things, in and out of any given city in a short time that makes shows like these feel super long, suddenly after three nights in a hotel I feel like I've settled in and I'm never going to be leaving instead of everything be too fast and too short to bother unpacking. Either way, I'm excited to come home tomorrow.

show went fine yesterday, actually it was better than fine. We pretty much kicked ass but you'd never know because that means that everything went so smooth that it looked a lot like just sitting around for 10 hours listening to Urologists drone on and on about prostate dissection and prolapsed bladder treatments (over lunch), it was enough to make you wish for something to go wrong that you hadn't already made a backup plan for.

today should be even more of the same since the few things that we did run into yesterday that caused slight bumps have now been adjusted for, so that means even less excitement. But that's what the client pays for, less excitment on our end so they can go about their business of not being exciting onstage.

Missing IAGG this week and next - work travels, go to the shows and help kick in the spring season, which rock.

I'm off to sit for 8 hours and then load a semi.
we know how to party
